Zephyr is local-only
Zephyr runs entirely on your Mac. It reads thermal sensors and drives the fans through a privileged helper daemon on the same machine, applying a temperature offset by leading the operating system’s fan curve. All of that happens on-device. Nothing about your hardware, configuration, or usage is sent anywhere.
No telemetry, no analytics, no account
Zephyr does not phone home. There is no analytics SDK, no automatic crash reporting, and no account or sign-in. It does not need a network connection to control your fans.
This website
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. If that ever changes, this policy — and the site’s cookie posture — will be updated first. As with any web server, the host may keep short-lived request logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and reliability.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the “last updated” date above changes with it.
